New Items

I will be adding some new products on the website today. All of them are made by the Happy Heiny's company. I am thinking it will take the rest of today to get everything on there. I am just hoping to get it done by bedtime tonight.

This was the tie dying process

Tie Dying done

So I finally got the prefolds done. The dying was very easy, it was getting all the dye out of the diapers that was a long process. I have to say that I am very happy with the results. I am normally a pocket type of mom and just use the prefolds as back up. But with how cute these are I can't wait to put them on her little tushie.

Today I going to tie dye my stash of prefolds. I am hoping it will go well because I would love to offer this option on the website. I like it would make using a prefold/cover system alittle more fun.

So Proud

I am so proud of myself today because I finally learned how to unzip a file. I know it sounds silly, but I have been having a hard time with this for a while now. Because of that I have not been able to load new pictures of products onto the website.

New Look

So I just updated my logo for the blog. It is a variation of our website but made just for the blog. What do you think? I blue makes it look relaxing and nighttimeish, I think

My baby is One

I am so happy and a little sad that my baby is turning one today. I think this is going to be our last baby. So I am trying to soak in every minute of it.

Cloth diaper workshops

We have 2 new workshops scheduled for November in 2 locations. These are a basics workshop so if you have a friend that is still on the fence about cloth diapers send them our way.
The first is on November 2nd at 12pm at the Stella Link Library located at 7405 Stella Link Houston, TX 77025
The second is on November 11th at 10am at the Bay Area Birth Center located at 3210 Strawberry Rd Pasadena TX 77504

Wondering

How hard would it really be to CD triplets? I know it would save so much money and that in it self would be worth it to me. But is it really hard to do it? Just wondering.

BIRTH Fair 2009

Here I am at the BIRTH fair this year. It was hard for me to be there because I was in so much pain with my discs. But thanks to my mom and sister it went great!!

New nighttime routine

So I am trying out new ways to cd for nighttime. Do you have a method that works great for you? If you do, tell me about it.

Birth fair and winner of diaper

The birth fair was great. We had a lot of new mommas thinking about cloth diapers and wanted to learn more. We did lots of pre-fold demos and educating of all the new modern cloth diaper available today.

We had a drawing for a free Happy Heiny's one size diaper. My daughter picked a name, and the winner is Katy McClelland. Congrats to you.

The first of the week

Today is Monday and we have the birth fair on Saturday. I have a week of prep work. Lots to do. I wish I would have had the chance to order some more covers from Bummis and get the Thirsties line going.
